Freestyle Stories
My name is Rex A. Palmieri. But I'm known as RexOne. a.k.a. The Defycult. I am 25 years old and live in Los Angeles, CA. I Compose Hip Hop and Instrumental, Experimental Beats. I use the Korg Electribe SX to produce all my Beats. Then, Record them onto my computer using:(The Acid Pro 4.0f software.) Anyone with beats or freestyle skills, want to collab. hit me up. Why this name?
I chose the name,(RexOne) for my band name because first off, my real name is Rex. And second, there's only one, that can produce these ill ass tracks, and that would be me, RexOne.
Do you play live?
Yes, of coarse I play live. That's the only way to play. I love playing live. It gives a whole different sound to everything. If you've never tried playing live I suggest you experience it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think, the internet completely changes the music industry heavily. Now a days, it's so much easier for an artist or band to get there name out there. It's almost impossible not to get your material heard atleast by somebody significant.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well, I'm not sure. Let's see how promoting myself this way works first before I answer that.

I've been around making Instrumental Hip Hop Beats for I'd say about a year now. I've always gone by the name RexOne.
