The songs featured on this site are original compositions that I have recorded on Garage Band, exclusively. So the band consists of me on guitar and some bass parts, and my modified Apple Loops.
Why this name?
Ever see the movie "Spinal Tap"? If so, I think you'll get the reference.
Do you play live?
Currently playing every Sunday morning @ Sonfest Chapel, Boynton Beach Florida.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is a huge sounding board for people like myself. A place where you can be heard by a larger audience, get some feedback, and hopefully grow creatively.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No
Your influences?
Where do I begin: first, Phil Keaggy has been a major inspiration to me as a man & a musician. Neil Young, Peter Frampton, Stevie Ray, Clapton, Hendrix, Santana & Eric Johnson have all been a major influence on me in a variety of ways. I have a folksie side; a rock side; a blues side, I kinda like a lot of different styles, so it's hard to pigeon hole my music at this point.
Favorite spot?
Kona, Hawaii (on the Big Island)
Equipment used:
I have a 77 Les Paul custom that is my main guitar. I also have a Parker Fly, a Yamaha APX20 electric acoustic, and a Gibson J45 Deluxe. My main amp is a Fender Twin 65 reissue, and an assortment of pedals.
