Why this name?
My name is Marckel Robinson. But my stage name is just Marckel, because Robinson is too long and I wouldn't wanna see my last name on an album cover lol.
Do you play live?
I've had opportunities to perform original material at concerts, coffee houses and conferences. I also sing with my family choir at concerts, weddings, funerals and churches. I have serves as a member in my church youth choir and praise team. Hmm...any special moments? There's nothing more special to me than to be able to bring forth the presence of God. If you dont consider that special, then I guess I haven't had any special moments.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet helps unsigned and unrecognized artists like myself to receive good promotion. However, the internet has allowed people to steal from artists and cheat them out of their money. Illegal downloads are extremely common in today's society.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course!
Your influences?
My family! My aunt Wynetta Hall-McElveen and my cousin Terrill Hall are my vocal influences. My cousin Jerome Hall influences me in my writing; and I hope to influence my little cousins as well.
Favorite spot?
Chicago, Illinois! I love it there. I've had a chance to sing there too. I love Florida too!

My Lap Top, Acoustica Mixcraft 4, M-Audio Oxygen 49 midi keyboard, AT2020USB USB Condenser Microphone , Yamaha DD-65 Digital Drums, RCA RT2360 Home Theater System, CAD EPF-15A 6-Inch Flexible Pop Filter, and other little accessories :)
