Music has been flowing through me practically since birth. My first memory is Mom rocking me to the sounds of Buck Owens and the Buckaroos. My "electric period" began at age 3 when I jammed a guitar string into an electrical outlet. My first musical goal was to become Elvis' lead guitar player. He hated the idea so much he died the year I started taking lessons. Dad promised me a new Gibson ES-335 as soon as I got as good a Chuck Berry; he still hasn't had to buy it.

My main focus now is songwriting and mentoring my daughter, Abby, as she tests the waters of live performance and recording. She's the voice on the demos posted here.
Do you play live?
I'm really jazzed about the duo thing with my daughter. Her first "paying gig" was a blast, and I was really proud of her.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
If it wasn't for current technology, the world would still be safe from my musical flailings.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, but I'd much rather be a successful songwriter.
Your influences?
You'll never hear it in my playing but I've been influenced by Chet Atkins,Jeff Beck,George Benson,Chuck Berry, James Burton,Jim Campilongo,Eric Clapton,Jerry Donahue,Lita Ford,Frank Gambale,George Harrison,Eric Johnson,John Jorgenson,Albert King,B.B. King,Mark Knopfler,Vinnie Moore,Roy Nichols,Jimmy Olander,Brad Paisley,Joe Pass,Jerry Reed,Don Rich,Joe Satriani,Neal Schon,Tiny Tim,Stevie Ray Vaughan,T-Bone Walker,Frank Zappa...among others.
Favorite spot?
Love living here in Southern Indiana...although Nashville was cool, too.
Equipment used:
My old Harmony Rebel, Yamaha Pacifica Tele-style, Peavey Impact 1, Fender ChampSE. Acoustics are a cheap Fender and Takamine. Various cheap effects and a Roland VS-840.
Anything else...?
Hope you enjoy the music. Feel free to promote it if you do. In fact, even if you hate it, promote it anyway. Thanks, and y'all come back now, y'hear?
