Extent of Madness part 1
Hi My names Damien and i am a one man band, Apart from my mate Alistair who helps with recording etc. I wanted to put a new feel to flamenco and sing/song writing and so i put them together to try and ge a relaxed chilled out feel of music which also gives you some form of energy that you wanna dance. But also i do this for a hobbie rather than actually trying to be commercial about it so feel free to listen and feel free to comment:D
Why this name?
My name is the same as that from the film " THE OMEN", heh, and people started called me El Diablo and i got interested in spanish music, especially flamenco. Then i decided to use this name as a band name. Plus it sounds cool :D
Do you play live?
I have played live before. Once was my flamenco stuff at this little bar in london. Once was with some friends that needed a step in guitarist a pub and an actual venue in mitcham. I found a wierd yet wonderful experience and would love to do it again. I would love to see people really into the music really showing the feeling.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps promote smaller people like myself but for larger bands/artists its a bit of an unfair game. Telling you now if i were that big and i found out i was losing millions there will be certain deaths. But im not in it for money what so ever so i guess i would also be interested to see how it does.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yeh. Would love to but ya know good rthings comes to those who wait. Or go and get it.
Band History:
Not much tbh ive being playing for about 5 years(flamenco) and i guess i wanted to put sing/song writing together with a flamenco hit and so i did and this came out.

Jason Hatchett. Guitar master. Paco pena, Paco de lucia, rodrigo y gabriela etc
Favorite spot?
probably gonna have to be cornwall. so relaxing.

Lots of software, mics spanish guitar, elctric hondo 2 guitar, great big marshal amp, fender bass and software for drums
