Uninterrupted sprang from the ashes of another DC area band. Wanting the freedom to explore the musical cosmos and not be limited to playing one particular genre or style of music, we came together to begin crafting a new identity. We are four musicians from four different musical backgrounds, but our common ground is that we all have an appreciation for both hard-rockin' and hard-funkin' music. Our influences are wide-ranging from the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin to Funkadelic and James Brown to Tina Turner and Stevie Wonder, all artists who were powerful and innovative and not afraid to chart new musical territory. Our debut album, "No Excuses", is available at our performances. We chose "No Excuses" as the title for our album because we will not make excuses nor offer apologies for being a rock band. That is what we are. We will not pretend to be something else to appease anyone. All that we ask is that audiences open their minds and accept us as the musicians we are, not pigeonhole or prejudge us when they see us. We are trailblazing but at the same time we are continuing along the path laid by the likes of our musical forefathers such as Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the Stone, Funkadelic, Fishbone, Mandrill, Mother's Finest, War, and many others whose contributions have been overlooked if not completely ignored
