Welcome to Sick of the Radio. If you are visiting this page then you heard about us from the street team or the radio commercials. Every track you hear is produced in house by the Black scorpion artist/producer/songwriter. Enjoy the freedom of choice to download the songs or song you like from our play list. Why this name?
If you ask any person on the streets who listens to the radio they will tell you what you heard on the mix tape. They are sick of the politics and hearing the same sound from new and old faces.
Do you play live?
I personally will perform where ever people are feeling the music. Any artist you every here on this page is willing to perform.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It doesn't balance the playing field, but it can give you a voice if its accompanied by strong marketing on a local level to spread the word.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I will never say no, but you can't wait for them to do it for you. I let the people judge my music. People buy directly from us.
Your influences?
I love everything from tupac to coldplay.
Favorite spot?
Any block across the map that's sick of the radio brainwashing.
Equipment used:
A mouse. Yeah, and a trash can lid like fat albert. That's how some of these mainstream artist music sound.
