Band History:
The Son of Rock and Roll/ Jazz/gospel pianoist Gerald "Jerry" Williams who toured with Duke Ellington and attended Julliards the school of music, birth his last born who would soon to take over his legacy. Years later after the lost of his father to cancer, Al Chauncy put all his pain and emotions into his music. Joining a Super rap group called Bloodline at the age of 16 embarked the career movement to do music full time. As a uprisng football athlete, Chauncy told his coach in the middle of the football season that music was his destiny and retired his helmet and cleets. Taking trips to New York, Jersey, Philly and Texas throughout his Senior year of High school really motivated the young MC. In 2000 a deal was on the table with Bloodline through Priority Records, but due to the merge with Capitol, The group Bloodline went unnoticed and well forgotten. After triumphful struggles and failure to get a deal, the group Bloodline disbanded and left Al Chauncy no choice but to embark on his solo career. Through all the hard work and pain, Al Chauncy is here to present you with "Meet Tha Mayor" his debut project.
