Has it really been 10 years since Elijah Blue was plying its trade around southwest England? those great gigs at the Sailors, Red Lion and the Watering Hole and every other funky venue from Penzance to Padstow. Elijah Blue are no more but they left some recordings and some memories of those "Good Times" down by the beach.
Why this name?
I believe we were named after a song by the band "Izit"
Do you play live?
No longer sadly, but the late 90's had many special moments. probably most outstanding was the Truro college ball at Sailors Nightclub in late '98
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Easy to educate yourself about music outside the top 40
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
they had their chance......

Your influences?
There were a lot, we weren't just jamiroquai imitators!- we loved Stevie Wonder, Donald Byrd, Kool and the Gang a lot of early hip hop.
Favorite spot?
Had to be Newquay
Anything else...?
we just wanted to put up the old recordings and maybe some related new stuff by the band members. the acid jazz mania lives on!
