I am simply a guy that loves to make music and trying to help people get in touch with their feelings; I hope something I've done helps bring a smile to your face or a tear to your eye. If I can do that, I am a success.
Why this name?
Hey, it is my given name
Do you play live?
I love to play live. I do a lot of open mics across the state ofTexas. I also do country music oprys. I sang at my granddaughters' wedding last month. It was great.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Finally, the world can hear what true artist sound like and not just what the "Music Business" wants to promote. I have met so many excellent artist throughout the years that never had a chance to get through those golden doors and be heard. Well mp3 and the internet has changed all that. Bands, artist, musicians all over the world now have this gigantic stage to perform on. I LUV IT
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
YES
Band History:
I have been playing music all my life. I wrote my first song when I was 12 yrs old. I still remember it. It was hokey but it was a start of a long journey. When I was 6 or 7 I would beat on an old tom tom while my dad and older brothers would pick guitars and play fiddles on the back porch(I was raised up in a family of ten kids and we all are musical.) I have written and recorded songs for the past forty years. I try to communicate my music the same way, like I was with friends and family on my back porch
Your influences?
Without a doubt, Elvis Presely. Also, Roy Orbison, Marty Robbins, Jimmy Rogers and Hank Williams
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot would be far from civiliziation in a beautiful range of mountains with paper and pen and my guitar so I could chase that perfect song. Other than that, Broadway Street in New York City is really cool (but I wouldn't want to live there)
Equipment used:
My vocals, and a Martin d41 guitar
Anything else...?
If you like it; Please buy it
