The Reality

Destroying silence. Dark. Heavy. Melodic. Chaotic. Dead Horse Trauma touches the willing and unwilling by painting a pretty picture of the perversity of everyday life in a manner soothing to the serial killer in all of us. The new alternative to duct tape and razorwire.

Why this name?

Dead Horse Trauma is also known as date-rape psychosis. It's what happens to a person who is raped when unconscious, otherwise known as being "dead-horsed". It's about being taken advantage of when someone is completely vulnerable and helpless. It's one of the emotions that our music portrays.

We love to play live.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It's made it so anyone can get their values, opinion, and ideas to the general public. It's a good and bad thing depending how you look at it.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

We will do what we can, when we see fit.

Band History:

Eric and Matt have been making music since high school. Later the necessary components entered the mix, and created this cancer that will overtake our planet, maybe others.
