My father, Uldis Cepure, was a Lutheran minister, who served both American and Latvian congregations. Shortly before his death, he asked me to record a collection of his classical favorites. I dedicate this to him. Unfortunately, I do not have the funding at this time to produce recording quality worthy of such great works, and this is simply a dedication to dad, not for use for profit or sale.
Band History:
I love great classical music, great rock music, uplifting blues, and generally music with a dark bite to it.... For originals, that range from blues to rock, see sacredproject, anitaingridneilson, some cowritten with Barry Gross and/or Sarah Gross, anitaneilson and lykemuthahlykedaughtah for a song cowritten with Sarah Gross. There are some originals written for harp at justfortheharp. (Fantasy music written for my ballerina, Brittany.) Also, creepymusic, creepy music written for Brittany, since she likes that kind of thing, being an October baby. Also added oui for a studio project and dangeroreiley just for fun. They all can be accessed from my original site, anitaingridneilson and clicking on member profile.
Your influences?
Love, above all. I believe music is the language of love. Composers like Beethoven, Brahms, Bach, Debussy, Massenet, Bizet, Puccini, Verdi, Tschaicovsky, Chopin, and Ravel have been awesomely inspiring maestros of music. I really love too many composers and artists to list them all.
Favorite spot?
Heaven, of course.
Equipment used:
My favorites are the grand pianos at Smokey Valley and Presser Hall, but my own is a respectable Kohler and Campbell studio piano, that I love, in spite of the fact that it is not a grand.
