Yo, wellington here. Welcome to my page. I can't imagine why you're here, but welcome. Whatever you think of the tracks, hit up the message board. If you're feelin' it and you make beats, let's collab. If your feelin' it and you rhyme, let's collab. If you'd be willing to mix my tracks for a VERY low price, hit me up. Other than that, check the tracks. Peace.
Why this name?
Like you really care. Oh, and it's actually just wellington. I threw in the 1984 because someone is already using that name.
Do you play live?
Not yet. I don't know if it will ever happen at this point. Something tells me my future involves lots of hours with headphones strapped to my head steady grinding on this interweb hustle.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Look at this site.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they give me complete creative control, hell yeah! And if not, hell no!
Band History:
I started rhyming in the summer of 2005 while I was tripping balls in my apartment. A year and a half later, I decided other people should be subjected to what goes on in my head.
Your influences?
My influences are way too varied to list. And to illustrate this, the first tape I ever bought for myself was Dookie by Green Day and my latest purchases were the new Brother Ali and Eyedea & Abilitities albums. In between, I've gotten into everything from Bright Eyes to Leftover Crack so don't even try to genrefy my music or you're head will explode.
Favorite spot?
I've moved around a lot but my friend and I found a wicked spot in the woods outside our village in Germany during middle school. I'd like to go back and smoke a spliff there some day.
Equipment used:
Bic wide body pens, MacBook, M-Audio MobilePre, CAD condenser mic, Logic Studio 8, mind, body, soul and spirit.
