What's up? People that know me call me Big Ben. I have been doing music for a long time. I have an honest love and passion for what I do. I know I have plenty room for improvement, but I am respected and reveered as one of the most well rounded artists in Mississippi.
Why this name?
After I read the characteristics of Zodiac sign, I realized how close my sign is tied into my personality. So I just adopted those descriptions as part of the things that define me. And Ben is my name.
Do you play live?
Yes. Any where. Of course. Every moment on stage is special.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe the internet gives underground musicians an alternative channel to use for the purpose of getting there music heard. I believe the internet can possibly help bring the "love" of music back into the game.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Your influences?
My too favorite artists of all time are Sade and Al Green. Al Green has the most complete album that I have ever heard (Here I am). Out of all the great albums Al Green has produced of his career almost every one of the songs on the record appear on his greatist hits cd's. And I just love the conviction and depth that Sade sings with. Rap influences would be; Scarface, Tu Pac and Big of course, Devin the dude, Pastor Troy, Ugk, Ball and G and Pastor Troy.
Favorite spot?
Miami, Fl by far. I love Los Angelos also. Never been to New York.
