Why this name?
Él the Self Image means, "He, the Self Image" or "He is the image of himself" now, I am a believer unto the graces of God, and as the bible says, Man is created in his image. so "the image of self" becomes "the image of God". basicly, Él the Self Image means "the image of God"

I also go by the name Erratic One, and I call myself that because my style and voice are very erratic, always changing...
Do you play live?
I PERFORM WITH MY MAYHEM FAM ALL THE TIME!!!! We'd don't shows at the House Of Blues (Anaheim) the Queen Mary in Long Beach, Club Rain, the Paladino (one of our best shows ever), and tons more that I can't even remember
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, to be honest, some peeps lose money because of the internet, because let's face it, it ain't hard to get music for free. On the otherhand, the internet helps the poor cats who aren't yet ready to be signed get well known... it helps peeps establish a wide fan base before going to a label, and it gives the artist more power after going to the label.... either way, it's all good....
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only on my terms, and I want publishing rights...
Band History:
I was born, and since then, I've spent every second dieing.....

too many to remember, let alone list... but they include Common, Mos Def, Afu Ra, The Roots, Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, Planet Asia, The Liks, Wu Tang, Zion I...

New York, even though I've never been there (yet)
