I began to sing after ending a storied piano career in eighth grade due to untreated wrist injuries resulting from a very hardcore game of capture the flag. I would print out lyrics and sing to myself on the bus to and from school to entertain myself, as I could not afford a CD player. The bus windows were my first audience.

The first time I sang to people was in Tibet while with my tour group composed of various people of different nationalities attending an electrical engineering conference in Yunnan. I sang Frank Sinatra's version of "Fly Me To the Moon."

Since then I've gained a lot of confidence in my singing and have made it a regular hobby. I sing in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. I speak English fluently and well, I've retained some Mandarin Chinese.
Why this name?
It was my forum handle at various boards at the time.
Do you play live?
I like to sing in stairwells. NATURAL REVERB!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It totally f***s them over. But that's a good thing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That depends if nude photoshoots are involved and if I'd have to convert to Kabbalah or Scientology.
Your influences?
"This is great to give people an idea of what to expect. Are you more into crashing guitars or motown r&b? (It's also great to drop keywords for search engines.)"
