I was born in Austin, Texas in January, 1969, but I grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico and I'm currently living in Houston.

I studied piano for several years and started composing when I was in high school. I went to college in Mexico where I received a degree in Computer Science.

During my university days I had to stop studying piano because I just couldn't keep up with two schools at a time. I started working, and three years later I received a master's degree in International Administration.

Since then, I've been moving wherever I feel there's an opportunity to grow. I've done many different things in the computer field, as well as in administration, education and -of course- music.

Presently, I'm trying to find ways to share my music with the world. I came up with my own website and a CD which I hope you have the chance to enjoy. :-)
Do you play live?
I do play live, but not as often as I would like. I love the feedback when they give it to me. You get all sorts of interesting comments. It's amazing how music affects emotions.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I am a tech geek. I believe that the internet and electronic formats -such as mp3- are a great way to promote your musical work. Today you can reach thousands of people around the globe without having to spend much money, time or effort.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm not sure. I like the freedom of doing whatever it pleases me. I don't know if I would like to have people telling me what to do all the time. I guess it would be nice to have people trying to sell your music for you, but then you would have to pay the price as an artist. I like being independent.
Your influences?
I like most instrumental music, so I listen to a bunch of different things. But I would say that my most important influences would be Kostia, David Lanz, Yanni and George Winston.
Favorite spot?
I love Houston, Texas, but would love to live near the mountains. Maybe somewhere along the east coast of the US.
Equipment used:
I wish I had more money to spend on equipment. My main tools are a piano and my good old 01/W Pro X Korg synth.
