Hi, Thanks for checking in...
Band History:
My name is Brian Lucas and I play ambient, instrumental music that is guitar driven with bluesy and soulful overtones. I played guitar as a kid but stopped in my early teens. I never picked up a guitar again until 2003. Now all this music that has been bottled up in my head over the last three decades is slowly starting to come out.

My own music is a combination of many different styles and influences. I don't know that it sounds like one particular artist or style; I'm certainly not trying to sound like anyone but me. I just try to play with all the emotion and feeling that I can draw upon and hopefully that is conveyed to the listener.
Your influences?
BB King, David Gilmour, Billy Gibbons, Robin Trower and Stevie Ray Vaughan have had the most impact on me.
I like and respect so many others guitarists from all genres such as Kenny Burrell, Joe Bonamassa, Albert King, Derek Trucks, Robben Ford, Mato Nanji, Jimi Hendrix, and Guthrie Govan.

At the moment I've been absorbing a lot of the music by Porcupine Tree and Opeth. I enjoy the writing of Steven Wilson and the quality of the overall production of his albums.

Bands and other musicians who have inspired me would be Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Chroma Key, Heart, Indigenous, John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Robert Plant, and a whole lot more...
Favorite spot?
It would have to be Hilton Head Island, SC. I love Hilton Head and vacation there every year. I always manage to come up with a new song during my stay. It's a very inspirational and productive environment for me.

I also enjoy visiting Huntington, WV where I grew up. I love following Marshall University Thundering Herd football. GO HERD!
