Evokative Muzic is all about taking a step above and beyond what hip-hop and rap has become over the last decade. Back when rap and hip hop was fresh it was all about expressing the lives of individules not seen by the general public. It was about exposing the truth. It was about taking a stand. These days the hip-hop facade has turned into a pre-concieved notion infering that all rappers are the same and they all talk about the same things, drugs, guns, money and women. There is a huge minority of artists out there using words with power and conviction to express the same thruths that have been forgoten over the last decade and a half. These are the thruths that need to be heard by our youth, so that the generations to come know that there is more to our sacred genre of music than mere material, sexual, violent, and money hungry lifstyles that have been glorified by todays stars.
