If I Can
My name is Sean Dolan. I live in Binghamton, NY. I have been playing music in the Southern Tier for 11 years, with various groups including Pine Junction, Dooneen, Off the Wagon, Sean and Art, and also as a solo artist.
Why this name?
It was given to me at birth.
Do you play live?
Yes, lots of places. Lots of times I'll open for a friend's band, or play a solo happy hour gig, or you can catch me with my band, Off The Wagon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It sure makes it easier to be heard and seen.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Your influences?
As far as my solo stuff goes, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Jerry Garcia, Jim Croce, Harry Chapin, John Martyn, Robert Hunter, Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon. When playing with acoustic guitar and voice only, the song has to tell a story. These guys are my favorite storytellers.
Favorite spot?
Nashville is my favorite city. Only been there once, but what a town.

Takamine 6 string, Custom Telecaster-style (Zebocaster), Epiphone Casino, Fender DRRI. Various pedals.
