BLOODSHOTEYE "Canadas Southern Most Metal Band" hail from the most southern town in Canada Leamington Ontario. With an extremely heavy and in your face attitude bloodshoteye has a very intense live show that must be seen to believe. With a rhythem section that has been together for 7 years as such bands as Capital Punishment and Once Dead, BSE have finally found their match with an absolutely amazing vocalist (one of the heaviest sounding female singer on the planet!) jeSICKa. They have perfected their own unique "Deathcore" style using all the elements of extreme metal.
Last year saw BLOODSHOTEYE play all over Ontario with some of the provinces finest local bands, also the Obey the Flame fest in Montreal which was an awesome experience. And more recently opening the Headbangers Ball tour in Toronto.

Why this name?
jeSICKa came up with the name before she was in the band. But it fits the bands personality like a glove. Come up and say high at a show and you'll see what we mean.
Do you play live?
We have played all over Ontario and with such acts as: Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, Cryptopsy, Strapping Young Lad, Skinless, God Forbid, Misery Index, The End & Diecast. But will be looking to play the states after the release of our CD.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I don't see how you could be in a band without the internet. It makes every thing so easy and quick. Also we get to be heard by people all over the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If it was the right contract.
Band History:
It all started in 1996 as Once Dead with Shane (guitar) Dyck (Drums) Will (bass) and Mike (vocals) OD recorded a demo together and won a couple battle of the bands. Then the name was changed to Capital Punishment and another demo was recorded. Better then the last but still not what we wanted, after playing only a hand full of local shows Capital Punishment fizzled away. Shane and Dyck were still determind to record the CD they have always invisioned and kept writing songs.
In early 2002 they recruited Mark on vocals and Jay on bass to record the first bloodshoteye demo. Still unhappy with the final result but again better then the last they replaced Jay with former bassist Will and added a second vocalist jeSICKa. Recording another 3 song Demo in late 2002 the songs are better then they ever had been. But still not up to par. In 2003 bloodshoteye parted ways with Mark and are a single vocalist band again.
Now after 7 years bloodshoteye is ready to tear the metal world a new asshole. With the new CD in the works this WILL be the CD we have always invisioned if not more. Get ready bloodshoteye will not be held back by anyone!
