What's good? Niggas know me as different names and aliases, such as J.F.K., Villain, Mouth, Ry Best, Cartoon, Biz, but most commonly Jimmy Kong. I'm 1/2 of the lyrical group, The Scholars, with my n*** Ghost. I've been writin' rhymes since the early age of 10, and I've been makin' beats since I was 13. I reside in the City of Steel, Pittsburgh, 412, all that other shit, and I can say I hold it down pretty well. I am in no form a gangster type nigga, and I have no gang affiliation...but I wont hesitate to f*** someone up who's in opposition. Any questions, or inquiries about prices and shit, get at me.
Why this name?
I drew this cartoon character with big ass eyebrows when I was in the 9th grade, and I made his name Jimmy Kong. It just kind of stuck with me, I guess. And as for Villain, I picked that name up later on in life. Not only as "Villain" the definition, but it's also an acronym for "Very Intelligent, Lyrical Legend, And Ill Nigga."

Also, I came up with "The Scholars" because of the intelligence me and Ghost have. It's evident on our tracks.
Do you play live?
Yeah, I did a few live gigs. I did a joint at the Hookah Bar in the South Side, and I was gonna battle this dood at the University of California of Pennsylvania, but niggas start thinkin' they knew Kung Fu, and tried to fight Ghost. That's a memory forever.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet makes music more accessible, so underground artists can be heard. I mean, that's the thing to do now.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, but I wouldn't change my style or none of that commercial-friendly bullshit. I'm me to the death.
Your influences?
Ghostface Killah and the whole Wu-Tang Clan, Big L, Notorious B.I.G., Tribe Called Quest, Jay-Z, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Rakim, Redman, J Dilla, DJ Premier, Kanye West, Alchemist, and the rest of the ill sample choppers.
Favorite spot?
It's not Pittsburgh...but that's the place I call "Home"
