Why this name?
After a song by The Byrds, "Cowgirl in the Sand." I happen to prefer snow to sand.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It flings open the doors, and subverts the suits. That's a good thing.

I've seen what major labels do to good bands. No thanks.
Band History:
Several years ago I ceased playing with others and concentrated on playing by myself. I've found this to be an all around healthier process as it leads to fewer arguments and greater quality control.
Your influences?
The Sarah Records bands, Ultra Vivid Scene, The Records...
Favorite spot?
Edmonton, though I've never been.
