Now and again things happen that change the face of music immeasurably...indeed it is hard to think of the 90's music scene in the second city without hearin the strains of classic hits such as 'Julianne', 'Bled dry and blue' or the perky rock/pop 'I think I see the sun'.
For a small group of musicians, groupies and friends co-ersed into attending gigs, with memories like escaping the crown alive and playing at the flapper..again, 'Shifty Kook' defined their formative years and will live on in scrap books as not only rock personified but a really smashing time of our lives...enjoy!
Why this name?
Upstairs on the back seat of a bus, in rush hour, on the Hagley road. Boredom then inspiration. Job done.
Do you play live?
we did, would love to again. every gig had its special moments (playing Quo so drunk I had to lie down etc.!)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
ermm...yeah ok. Cheers!
