I attended a camp in Missouri named KAA (Kids Across America) and at the camp, the staff and counselors believed that all of us females should strive to be Proverbs 31 women. During the summer of 2006 a cheer was made up for us girls to chant. When I made it back home to Texas, I turned that chant into a song, "P31 Woman". After performing it a few times, people began to call me Miss P31. The name has been with me ever since...Mz P31!!

I do perform my songs live just about everywhere in Dallas right now. Hopefully one day I will be able to sing in more areas. I love singing in public, being on stage is just a grat experience for me each time I step foot on one. I love the idea of people listening to me...really listening to me and not just my voice...I mean the words behind the voice. One of my favorite memories was when I was singing at a Java for Jehovah and I was introducing "P31 Woman" and the women in the crowd began to raise up and "throw it up"...it was great!!! Older women were dancing and bouncing to my youth music and giving me accalades for the music...yea...it was great!

Being able to upload your music on the internet in mp3 format allows more people to be able to access your music. Not only can people close to you see your potential, but also people all over world. The "highlight" of it all is that it is easier to get yourself noticed by the music industry via the world wide web!!

Of course I would!!! If that's what God has for me then one day it will happen.
