THE RETURN OF S.O.T.O.???
Stay Tuned.
S.O.T.O.
S.O.T.O. is your not typical group. In fact, they are Something Outta The Ordinary. The Asian duo gracefully crosses the boundaries between R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop, creating a signature sound guaranteed to appeal to music fans of all three genres. S.O.T.O.'s vocal arrangements are layered on top of next level grooves with R&B and Hip-Hop edge plus a distinctive Pop appeal. The talents and endless vocal abilities of S.O.T.O. members Rob Flamingo & Drew Dutch are showcased on their material to no end. S.O.T.O. strives to lead the new millennium music scene, breaking racial barriers and defying categorization.
The name S.O.T.O. stands for a couple of different things. Sons Of The Orient being one of them, reflecting the members’ Asian ethnicity. All of the members are of Asian descent; Rob is Filipino-American, and Drew is Japanese-African American.
Each member of S.O.T.O. is unique and brings his own style to make up this creative new sound. Rob’s ultra on-point lead vocals give the group a distinctive original sound and a definite edge over the competition. Drew’s rhymes stay right in pocket and are sure to keep heads nodding uncontrollably. Also, S.O.T.O. members are very talented writers as well as musicians {Rob plays the acoustic guitar}.
As it can easily be heard on each song, S.O.T.O.’s innovative offerings bridge the gaps between the worlds of Hip-Hop, R&B, Pop, and all forms of music worldwide. Whether it’s the edgy up tempo 1st single “Cruisin”, the super sexy "Automatic", the soon-to-be classic acoustic ballad “All That I Can Say”, or the energetic club banger "Be My Girl”, S.O.T.O. enters the music game challenging traditional musical conventions and blazing trails for other Asian and ethnic musical groups to follow.
AND THE GAME WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.....
