The Dutch speech in this track is by a minister, recounting an incident when he surveyd the destruction of Rotterdam in May 1940. His words are as poignant as ever. [See lyrics for a translation]
Let this one phase you out for a bit...
A revised version of this track, a less harsh snare and a nice mellow melody on organ.
Laid back at only 107 BPM... with a funky wet bassline from my Syntecno TeeBee. I hadn't used it in ages.
Me jamming some funky lines on a saw tooth synth. The song grew from basically one sample: the wonderful eighties snare.
My 101 is bubbling away on this one. With some obscure samples from a documentary on techno music.
I'm working on some ideas. Music to open an upcoming live set with. With me on the vocoder shouting Zuuuuuuuuur.... :D Might be a tad unpolished...
Robots like electro so-o-o much! This has some excellent, unrelenting 303 tweaking going on.
This is a very laid back collaboration with a musical partner in crime, Araglin(dot nl).
I simply wanted to get to know my vocoder better. [Note: The first mix was pretty messy - I redid it and added some melodious elements. So, this is a revised version, the other one has been retired.]
A simple funky tune to test out some fantastic realistic drum samples. The bassline is my 303, filtered to sound (for the first time) like a very convincing electric bass guitar.
This is an initial version of a track I'm working on. It features a prelude before the track really gets going. Don't ask about the name....
A simple track - about the simple fact that I like acid. Gave me the chance to play around with a new vocoder program I got.
I was playing around with a harpsichord and overlayed it with an organlike sound from the SID synthesizer. It turns out a bit classical. The track has become corrupt sadly, so I'll never be able to finish it now. Kinda annoys me... :/
The song is well known due to an internet meme a way back, but the track lends itself to abuse with a TB-303. [Due to it's extensive use the song itself is now considered public domain]
A little experiment involving a B4 organ and intentionally cheesy 727-congas.
I guess this one is all about layering. There's much going on, including an odd barking riff on my acidbox.
Okay, the synths are cheesy (but, on purpose) and I guess it's quite energetic. More cowbell, 'cause I got a fever!
