Laszlo5000 is Daniel Lewis with occasional contributions by family and friends.
A Research Scientist by day--husband and daddy by night--and songwiter in between--Laszlo5000 is a modern day Buckaroo Banzai!
Laszlo5000’s has been writing songs for 30 years--his music spans many moods and genres—sappy sweet, darkly sarcastic, and bawdy—lullabies, rock, pop, and folk.
I am currently recording and mastering this collection of originals to comprise the long overdue CD Laszlo5000: Unstuck in Time (The First Fifty Years).
A small sample is online now with monthly releases expected...so check in now and then or expect an email update; if you are not already signed up for the mailing list you can click to sign up for it on the right side of this page. I'll let you know when a new song is posted.

Do you play live?
I remember wanting to play live at one time and did so occasionally. The Red Radish was a great vegetarian restaurant in Kent, Ohio where I played for my supper in the '70s. I played a few times at a bar called JB's down in the 80's, also in Kent, Ohio with an all-girl band called the Betty's. These days I'm not too fond of playing live, except for my wife and kids! But I'm sure it beats playing dead and at 50 that is something I think about.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
You mean be a songwriter by day, a husband and daddy by night, and a Research Scientist in between? I just might Lois...I just might.
