Born in the ocean of information in the late 70´s, Dj URA started recording things with 3 years with his mother´s cassette-recorder. Firstly voices and tales, at the age of 11 took the guitar and a boss orange distortion pedal and started making noise. Started recording experimental demos, about 70 cassettes with a 4 multitrack recorder. In that demos there was already an obsession to explore contrasts between dark and bright environments, progressive soundscapes, mix of different styles, from bossanova to blues, from funky metal to hard core, flamenco, contemporanian guitar music…

He plays both classical and electric guitar, trying to find with each of them a personal way. Already with a PC, started growing his work, with rythms and loops. The styles went richer and he started in drum and bass, dub, hip hop, electronic music… but always based on guitar melodies. In the other hand, he has recorded 8 albums as a guitar player with different bands.
