play hi-fi  oh my dear
I have been playing, singing, and recording since I was a kid. I ended up in several bands over the years, played shows all over, met many fine musicians, and had a blast doing it all. These recordings are some I had hung on to from over the years as well as newer recordings I add when gaps in my schedule open. Some are good, some are crappy, either way it is me. This is who I am.

Other than my interest in music, school is pretty much my focus at this point in my life. No matter how much studying is involved or how much stress I have to deal with I always find my balance in the music.

Do you play live?
Definitely! I love it! There is nothing in the world that can give you the same feeling as when your live on stage!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it definately helps to promote your music...or whatever your are trying to get out to people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
uhhh.....let me think about it for a second....hell yeah main!
Your influences?
Growing up through the 80's and 90's was very influential for me as I progressed through my music career. Alot of rock bands such as guns-n-roses, metallica, to soundgarden, pearl jam, alice in chains, nirvana and foo fighters were all influential in a rather personal way. Then influences from the 60's and 70's became of interest as I devoured the doors records, jimmy hendrix, pink floyd, the who, and many others. Finally I have grown into a more mature musician and have been turned on to Stevie ray vaughn, bb king, bill withers, marvin gaye, albert johnson, pat methany, and last but not least, joe pass. Still gotta have that hard rock though, a little bit of tool, mudvayne, nine inch nails, periphery, deftones, incubus, led zepplin, ozzy, aerosmith, etc
Favorite spot?
Blacksburg, VA, Home of the Virginia Tech Hokies, seems to be a growing little spot for live music in my area. Actually anywhere is good for me. I havent had a chance to get out to too many places yet but where I have played thus far has been a great experience.
