We attempt to keep our music range wide open from heavy to soft, technical to melodic, and straighforward to experimental. It is our goal to bring something different and new to the scene.
Why this name?
Antenora(ant-uh-nora), a layer in hell from Dante's Divine Comedy, is named for Antenor who was a Trojan soldier who betrayed the Trojans and sided with the Greeks. This section is where the traitors to homeland or party reside. They are again immersed in the ice. Here Dante meets one sinner, Ugolino della Gherardesca, who is gnawing on the head of another sinner, Archbishop Ruggieri.
Do you play live?
Yes, we play live all around colorado, ranging from small house shows to large venues.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has made it much easier for rising musicians. Being able to widely distribute music without the aid of a record label is awesome.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
In late 2005, Eric, Paul, Mike and Sean decided to take music more seriously, and put their former band(s) behind them to create something better. Thus started Antenora.

Techinical Metal/Hardcore bands, and melodic ambient bands. Death Metal/Grindcore/Black Metal/HXC/Screamo/Deathcore/
