Why this name?
True Grit is the perfect way to describe my flow & style. It was also the name of a John Wayne flick from back in the day...that kat is nuts.
Do you play live?
not currently...but i have done plenty of shows wit' D.P. and right now im just workin on this new joint. will soon be making appearances in queens, long island, and jersey, stay tuned
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well at first u would think it would hurt the industry due to illegal downloading, but ive read that sales are at a record high. The net is the best way to get your music out there to be heard and appreciated. on music.download.com/dirtypeddlaz we got 9,000 downloads in a year& its great to hear the feedback from all over the world. now with myspace.com /peddlaz we can reach a whole other type of listener. the net is perfect for the music industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
theres no need for that right now but once i am more established i would listen to offers. i wont sign the sh*** deal
