Ghost River is an acoustic band playing folk and bluegrass. The extended band is disbanded at present with Don and Faith working on duet material. Members in the past have been Don (mandolin/vocals) and Faith Peters (guitar/vocals), Ken Fortney (guitar/vocals), Terri Brown (guitar/vocals), Ed Richter (banjo), Clay Caver (banjo), Gerald Goforth (dobro) and Steve Craig (bass/vocals). Ghost River is a harmony based group reminiscent of sixties folk groups with a present day bluegrass sound. Playing a mix of vintage bluegrass standards, current bluegrass hits and a variety of other tunes, all with a strong harmony and instrumentation. Although the band is not currently performing, Don and Faith are continuing to play folk and bluegrass as a duo and maintain the Ghost River name. Other members of the band are playing in Singletree.
