S.U.A.A. Records artists M.C.K. reppin' the 412 from McKeesport have a sound and style so profound, it'll drive you wild. Blending the sounds of rock/rap/gangster/reggae/and punk all into one band is nothing new for these two. Made up of MC Assault & Cray-Z Crack-A, M.C.K. will rap your ears off til' there's nothing left. But enough of this rambling, just listen and you'll understand.
Why this name?
We were both born in McKeesport, PA, so it just felt right. Plus, the letters mean something... but we'll tell you when you're older.
Do you play live?
Yezzir. We play anywhere we get booked. We f***ing love it. Nothing is better than being up on stage infront of people doing what you love.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The way I see it is, PIRATE THAT SHIT. No, seriously, if you do pirate it, atleast go see that band at a show, buy a t-shirt, buy them a drink, do something so long as you're atleast supporting the artist.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
They'd have to bring along S.U.A.A. Records under our own terms.
Band History:
TOOOOOOO much history. Let's just say Assault & Cray-Z Crack-A started out as the Electric Aliens back in 1995, then changed the name to M.C.K. Years go by without doing anything productive and joining other bands and starting various groups and going solo. M.C.K. got back together and is here to stay.
Your influences?
Sublime, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Tech N9ne, Vanilla Ice, Three 6 Mafia, Suburban Noize Records Recording Artists, Psychopathic Records Recording Artists, Rancid, Bad Religion, Biggie, there's a hell of a lot more...
Favorite spot?
McKeesport, no doubt.
Equipment used:
Recording - Cool Edit Pro 2.0 & Yahmaha 6 Channel Mixer.
Live - Crown Amps, MTX Dual Sub Speakers, Yahmaha Speakers.

Anything else...?
You may love us. You may even hate us. But dammit, you're going to listen to us.
