Welcome to the wonderful world of CREATURE!!

Where the epitome of the good, bad and ugly is expressed. This is god's plan.. Straight from the lips of a sinner to the hearts of every other sinner.

"If you don't know I don't know either...his name is Creature!!!" Sounds the cryptic rallying cry of one of New York City's most widely respected emces. Destined to break away from Hard Knock City's over crowded, and often mediocre underground. Creature has been a staple amound New York's hip hop enthusiasts for nearly a decade. With a style that blends the art of metaphor, street prophecy, pain and realism, and a dash of twisted humor, Creature's skill is something of legend.
Why this name?
Creature is being living through music.
Do you play live?
Yes. I've toured with Mike Ladd and the Majesticons through Europe and the States. I'll be doing a show at Scribble Jam in Cincinnati Ohio August 7th thru 10th
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
More people can hear me now..
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as I don't have to Compromise my Art.
Band History:
Bursting onto the scene in 1997 with The Beatnuts produced single "Genuine" b/w "Don't Make Me Try" (Hydra Records); with his then group The Triflicts, Creature has more then paid his dues. After the split of Triflicts, he kept in the daily gring with some of New York's most respected hip hop crews: Insonmiac Dream, Sky Pimps and Mike Ladd's celebrated Infesticons. This unflinching work ethic prompted Yellow Rat Bastard magazine to hail Creature as "leading the way, in hip hop's next wave." Creature is so the fast track to notoriety but don't take our word for it the press is already raving: "Creature is set to take on the machine and breakdown the gray wall that's making a debauchery of hip hop" (GhettoBlaster Magazine, Dec., 02). If his fiery appearances on "Hello From the Gutter" (Insonmiac Dream mixtape hosted by legendary Mr. Sinista) are any clue as to what's in store the industry might as well reserve a few spots on the charts for this emerging star.

Creature is currently hard at work on solo full length. Never one to tire easily, he's also been working with crew mates Insonmiac Dream, M Sayyid (formerly of Antipop Consortium), MF Doom and a host of the other projects. So when the moon is full and you're in bed wondering about the bumps and thuds screaming from the basement rest assured its only Creature hard at work to save this thing called hip hop.
