HI, Thanks for checking me out. My name is Lowell Stark and I have some songs I wrote and sang in Nashville. Check out Dreamgirl. I know this isn't the first time that title has been used but I think you'll like it. Mustangs is a moderate tempo country rock song. Sweet Lullaby is a song about remembering someone you love. I went to Nashville again in May '07 and cut the rest of a ten song album that I hope will be out soon after.
Why this name?
It's my name after a deceased uncle.
Do you play live?
Whenever I get the chance I play live. My favorite is the solo session where its just me and my acoustic.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's helped people like us to get exposure that is otherwise hard to come by.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Thats what I want.
Your influences?
I first played Heart of Gold in 1974 then moved on to the Eagles and Beatles. Now everything I write has a little of all those in them. Willie made me want to write songs.
Favorite spot?
San Francisco
Equipment used:
Yamaha, Johnson fender peavey and a recenlty aquired 16 series OMC Martin acoustic that is incredible to play
