Better Than You (extended)
I am Forte. I'm a hip hop artist from Michigan, just outside of Detroit. Some of my influences are Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, and many underground artists such as Kartoon, WibOne, SicMuse and VizionX1. I hope you enjoy the music.
Why this name?
Forte means strong, or loud: I like to think that I am loud enough to catch your attention, and strong enough to hold it.
Do you play live?
Haven't had any lives shows yet, maybe never will. It is a possibility though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Internet and mp3's are a miracle for up-and-coming artists because they make it easy to get heard. Mainstream artists only fear them because they don't realize the possibilities of internet music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably, but I'd sign the contract to mix, record, or master an album- I'm not to intent on becoming a main stream artist.
Band History:
I've been rapping since the sixth grade. I started out trying to be a No Limit Soldier, then a Bad Boy, then a Mo Thug. Then at some point, I started trying to be myself.
