The opening song of my first EP 'Coloured Soil'. This tracks opens the the field for the east/western encounter that I aim at with this EP. manjhima sings a traditional indian bhajan, I wrote the arrangement and produced the whole track.

Traditional indian bhajan in an electronica arrangement. you'll here an upright bass, an acid jazz drumset, latin style guitars, dramatic piano and strings. and last not least: a laid back solo part for spanish guitars and tabla.
A bengali folk song in a dub reggae style interpretation. Vocals: Manjhima. Arrangement, keyboards, programming and production: thma.
As the name implies: Manjhima sent me an uptempo recording of a bengali folk tune. This song had an instant dance appeal, so I did my best to write an electro house arrangement for her song.
Garjat Barsat is the latest addition to the garland of Bhajans sung by Manjhima.
