The idea behind the Manjhima project is simple yet effective: Let the audience discover Indian Bhajans and folk songs from a new, widened world music perspective.

Manjhima is a vocalist trained in classical Indian music. She also plays Harmonium and Tanpura. She has been featured in several classical LPs and also in soundtracks of Bollywood film productions.

Thomas is a german percussionist, keyboardist and producer. He played in several bands covering a wide range of styles: Reggae, Jazz, Funk, World Music. He is also a sought-after session musician, remixer and producer.
