Hi! My name is Andy Henderson. I'm an individual who mostly just plays keyboard instruments. Any and all styles of music.
Why this name?
I just thought it was funny.
Do you play live?
I play at juke joints, honky-tonks, seedy lounges, and the occasional fine dining restaurant. "Last Date" works everywhere.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I dunno, it just makes it BETTER.

But it is kind of funny that there seems to be so much more music being created than is actually being listened to.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't know. I agonize over that to this day lol...
Band History:
I play with a couple of great Mississippi rock/cover bands, Danny Scallions' "Dreamer" and Eddie Taylor's "Brickstreet". Also enjoy pickin' with my podners Jeff Reynolds, Jim Bunch, and Paul "Sparky" Trollinger, all fellow survivors of the infamous Silverado Band of Pop's Around the Corner.
Your influences?
Chuck Leavell, James Booker, David Maxwell, Jon Medeski, Sam Yahel, Bill Evans, Floyd Cramer.
Favorite spot?
The (defunct) Subway Lounge in Jackson, MS, where folks of all stripes came for the music. I played organ 'til 4 AM every other weekend for the King Edward Blues Band .
Equipment used:
Steinway Grand pianos and vintage Hammond organs with Leslie speakers. Unfortunately, the MP3 encoding process may make these sound like cheesy modern-day synth keyboards. Don't be fooled!
