At the age of 18 he is one of Canada's best hip hop artists. Chris started getting into rap around the age of 12 and he always enjoyed watching his uncle play the piano and sing r&b. He started rapping about 6 years ago when Smyth The Kid from the Beathedz found him and showed him how to use his skills properly. Smyth got him writting his own music and recording at local studios about a year ago. After he recorded his first track Smyth wanted to give him a name and Young Crayon was introduced. 3 years after he was found he decided he needed to change something that would adapt to his new, powerful, amazing style. His name. Thus Chris Chase had made it into the world of Windsor Hip Hop. Chris had his songs played on the Needle 9:14 show many times and his first live performance was at Bentleys. Later Chris released his first CD called The Chase Is On.

A few years after the ball started Rolling Chris decided to open his own recording studio, and with that he released another CD titled I AM.
