Wrecking Season are an alternative rock band from Taunton. Producing an eclectic mix of musical ideas in one diverse and seemingly impossible package, Wrecking Season deliver a short, sharp shock to the senses.
Why this name?
The Name derives from a film by Nick and Jane Darke called "The Wrecking Season"
Do you play live?
The Gigs so far have been a great success with positive feedback from everyone who has seen them. With further gigs in Taunton and Bristol already scheduled, check our website for further details.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has enabled the music industry to reach fans globally without major record deals.

Yes as the record labels are still the people with the knowledge and know how to truely launch a band to the top
Band History:
The Band were formed in 2005. With a full set of their own songs written and a demo recorded (Dark Days in March) Wrecking Season are looking to promote themselves far and wide.
Your influences?
As a band we are all into a variety of different genres and styles. Musically our music is punky rock y and a little bit indie. The best description was in our first review we stated we were "Heavy Guitars with lucid vocals"
