Hi this is Soulful. I am a contemporary gospel keyboardest who finds inspiration in praising and worship God through music. I have found that in my times of inner troubles music has been one of many connections to sending up my prayers to my friend and savior Jesus Christ. I hope to share some of my music with other like christians in hopes that we can bond and grow together in spirit.

Why this name?

I chose Soulful because I want to be around music that touches my soul. I hope that the music I write touches someone so that there could be a change in their lives for the good.

Do you play live?

Yes I play live. I also perform with my group NuCovenant. Most of the time I perform in the surrounding areas of Goldsboro and Raleigh NC. I am presently playing for Seymour Johnson AFB choir and Best Grove Baptist Church youth choir. Sometimes there are moments when the music does not count and all that is left is the praise. There is nothing more special than that.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Yes I think Mp3 changes the music industry. I have found that an unsigned artist will be able to share his music more easily and less costly than the normal venue.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes I would sign a record contract with a major label.

Band History:

My musical experiences first began back in Raleigh NC at North Carolina State University singing with New Horizon's Choir. At State I formed a group NuCovenant. Presently I have been playing keyboards and directing music at many military installations, sharing my music with soldiers who need a word of inspiration.

Your influences?

Truly I have been influenced by my family and by great artist like John P Kee, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, and Commission.

Favorite spot?

At the moment, there is no greater spot than home.
