Raised in Denver, Colorado but born in the 505, C.E.O of his self created label, and producer of hiphop and techno beats, Pezimistik may possibly be the artist to put the Mid-West on the hip-hop industry scene. After beginning his career in june of '06, he started writing and rapping off of various instrumentals from different producers around the globe. Unable to obtain full copyrites of the beats, he wrote and rapped to practice and to gain a fan base. In 2007, he released two mxtapes that were more successful then previously anticipated. His checkpoint goal to create a self created Album is extremely close to becoming history. After 2 years of producing instrumentals, and 3 years of rapping under his belt, Pezimistik is an underground artist to watch out for. His Official Album Obsession Or Skill is dropping by the end of 2009

Why this name?

It took me a while to choose my name. I tried to pick a unique name that nobody would think of, a name that i knew wuld be hard to imitate and one i checked to make sure WASNT taken. Pezimistik came to my mind about two weeks after starting to rite lyrics.

Do you play live?

Yes i play live. various places in denver and the surburban areas.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet affected almost everything, not just the muzik industry. I believe there is no real way to decide weather the world wide web changed muzik in the right or wrong way, but it did change the muzik business forever. I think its good to have your muzik able to be downloaded all over the world, people could hear it, all over the world. The internet has provide extreme good promotion for any type of artist, actually, promotion for almost anything. But also has its down affects, loss of funds is the biggest and now downloading free muzik over the internet is being banned. As an artist, i would love to see my muzik everywhere for free, but maybe when im bigger n really needing a profit from it, my perspective will change.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Your influences?

I am a mid-west type of rapping style (Tech N9ne). My thought in muzik range from hardcore gangster (ice cube, tupac, old skool 50 cant), club (Flo Rida, T-Pain, Akon), to real life (Game-Start From Scratch, Ludacris-Runaway). I have a WIDE VARIETY of rap AND beats. You just need to check it out.
