Hi, I'm Jeni Wallwork. I write songs for others to perform or recreate. Or you can just play them!

If you are a singer, band, publisher or producer wanting new songs, you've come to the right place!

I email my my demo songs with and without vocals to singers if they want to record their vocals over them, or if they want they can re-record the whole song from scratch, or just sing them live. Then we both have a better quality demo or performance to promote.... me as the songwriter and them as the singer/band/producer/publisher.

My aim is to be the silent songwriter behind the star...like Bernie Taupin behind Elton John! I am happy for my songs to be used as long as I am credited as the songwriter, and then we can all benefit and become rich and famous together! Thank you in advance!

2008 - 'Freefall' - Top 10 in MusicOz Urban section (Udhara de Silva version)

2008 - 'Dead in Your Trax' - Highly Commended MusicOz Pop section

2008 - 'Dead in Your Trax' - Semi-Finalist UK Songwriting Contest

2008 - 'Aussie Navy' - Top 20 Myspace navysongbattle

2007 - 'Ground Zero' and 'Time Has Come' - Semi Finalist and Highly Commended UK Songwriting Competition

2006 - 'Ground Zero' - Honourable Mention UNISONG International Song Competition

2003 - 'Queen of Self Destruction' - Merit Award in UNISONG International Song Competition

2002 - 'One Last Drink' - Runner-up as Best Pop Song for APRA Big Note Festival Songwriting Competition

I donâ€™t pretend to be much of a singer or instrument player, but I do both to get my songs out there! I know youâ€™ll listen to the song rather than the production! More and more of my songs are being sung by lovely voices, thank you to them!

My aim is to be the unseen writer behind singers or bands. I am looking for singers and bands and or publishers and production people who will take my songs away and do wonderful things with them!

My songs are romantic and melodic. I love harmonies and countermelodies and lots of instruments which I synthesise on my keyboard. I an see them being produced in the style of Dido/Evanescence/Five for Fighting/Coldplay/Enya or whatever you think!

I have had some song success, with semi finals and honourable mention positions in MusicOz 08, American and British songwriting comps 06-08.

Your influences?

My style is ballad/pop/romantic...hard to describe. My biggest influence is the Beatles but I love any song, usually ballad/pop/romantic that grabs the old heart and wrings it like a sponge...Coldplay ballads, Five for Fighting, Evanescence, Dido etc etc too many to mention...

Favorite spot?

Tasmanian wilderness, you have to come check it out....dinosaur country a couple of hours from the city of Hobart.
