HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!And Thank you for sitting in the hot car once a week for 45 minutes for my music lessons!!
John Hensley hails from Little Rock, Arkansas where he studied piano performance at the University of Arkansas with Concert Pianist Guild virtuoso Alan Chow. With a combined study in Theatre and Dance, he never lost his roots of spending every summer growing up camping in the Ozark Mountains and attending the Ozark National Folk Center for the nightly performances of song and dance. The rollicking banjo and fiddle tunes, square dances, dulcimer trios and beautiful mountain ballads have never left his heart, and now enjoys playing and teaching an acoustic blend of the past and present. With acclaimed guitarist and vocalist Rodd Bayston, the album "CORN BRED" was created (Find our way) and has led to many new sounds eagerly enjoyed by a diverse following from past and present generations. He continues to perform, direct and choreograph in regional theatre and recently recorded the original cast album to one of his favorite musicals, Nunsense A men. You can find him picking the dulcimer, banjo, autoharp, or the ivorys somewhere near the beach in Ft. Lauderdale,
