Band History:
Sean began writing songs at school and was soon fronting a local band performing in pubs and clubs around the South coast of England. The group produced only one single which achieved good local radio air play. The bands’ final performance was in the grounds of Chichester Cathedral for an open air music festival.
Sean moved to London playing guitar with several bands before concentrating on an acting career. Sean used his musical talents in a number of shows including the first stage production of Derek Jarmens ‘Jubilee’, at the Albany Empire in Deptford London.
In that show Sean met up with a singer (Sue Berlind) and formed a performing and songwriting duo. After winning a national songwriting competition and recording their first single in Townhouse studios with the legendary producer Tony Visconti, Sean and Sue moved temporarily to New York. Under the name ‘The Tutus’ they cut their first album produced by Toni Visconti.
The album was never released due to contractual problems, and Sue left the group to concentrate on a writing career (she is now a successful children’s author). Sean toured with ex- Immaculate fools front-man Kevin Weatherall before concentrating on a solo career.
Sean now performs at selected venues and festivals and works as an actor and has appeared in several well known BBC and ITV programmes.
His debut album 'Frozen Ground' is available in download format here and the CDs from CDBaby.com. - see links on these pages.
