Marching of the dead
The band was form back in the year 1998. Originally line up was Caduccus, Kravnos & Dagoth. Abattory already in this metal genre industry since 1989 during school days. Old school metal band such as Profancer & Xasthur demo were recorded by dagoth & Caduccus in 1991. And now, Abattory strong line up with Makhluq(Screams of the warlords), Mythos(cries of deathsaw strings), Caduccus(tunes from the hellharp), Kravnos(thunderous slaps of the battleaxe), RemoXal(basher of necrogoat skins) with deathrash supremacists.
Why this name?
In the earlier beginning, Abattory was known as Abattoir. After we discovered that abattoir was from states. And therefore we decided to change the name of the band to abattory.
Do you play live?
We did some performance at East Coast-Singapore, Abby's rock cafe-Malaysia, Clarke Quay-Singapore and many more since 1998. And of course we enjoy the show and were given good comments. With the crowds rumbling around, head bangings, cheers and most memorable was when the fans wanted to take photo with us and were asking for our autographs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
People from all over the world will get to hear our music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. Definitely if given a chance.
Your influences?
With influences and inspirations from old school metal bands such as Kreator, Destruction, Slayer, Bathory, Sodom, Death, Testament etc..But abattory will definitely make music more unique and more to abattory style.

Abattory uses Ibanez guitars, Ibanez soundgear bass, Pearl Pedals, Zildjians cymbals, Tama, Remo heads, Senheiser mics, Marshall Amps....
Anything else...?
Abattory plans to produce an album by next year and of course will definitely a better ones. And last but not least....METAL RULEZZZ~!~!~! ABATTORY ROCKZZZ~!~!~!
