Band History:
Backstab has been around the local Detroit scene since the early 90's...it wasnt until his first professional release in 2001 that this artist found success. In the two years following his album release, Backstab has more than made up for his lack of acknowledgement from 1995-2000. Witnessing first hand the success of other detroit based artists such as Eminem, Slum Village, and others, Backstab appears to be on the edge of worldwide success with or without a major label backing. His album has sold 1,000's of copies around the country and world and today Backstab has a line of compolation producers, and mixtape dj's waiting for him to address an exclusive verse for their upcoming endeavors.
