This is an offshoot of various other musical projects and includes songs with a more personal level of content. The music here was recorded in varying circumstances and over quite a long period of time.
Why this name?
I was working with a band and we needed a new name as we'd had a personnel change and wanted to distance ourselves from the previous lineup.

This name was one I came up with as it is catchy and it made me laugh. Unfortunately, that band self-destructed after one really excellent gig so I decided to use the name for something else. Well, I came up with it, so why not?
Do you play live?
Not playing live as I'm concentrating on transferring my large archive of recorded material to digital media.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This kind of site (using the Internet and MP3s, obviously) makes a greater range of music more accessible to a much wider audience - and quickly.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Who wouldn't? Chance would be a fine thing.
Band History:
Evan Arthur - Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards ....... you name it, I've probably played it on one of my recordings in the past.

The excellent Michael Glover plays fabulous drums on "Six Eight Jam", "She Don't Care About Time", "A Message From Donna" and "Dreaming Of Vicky" - thanks, Mike!
Your influences?
The Comsat Angels, Pere Ubu, A Certain Ratio, The Fall, Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Captain Beefheart, MX-80 Sound, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, David Bowie, Iggy Pop......... just about anyone good, really.
Equipment used:
I like the convenience and the power of digital sound-editing software, but I also like older analogue gear and older instruments and amplifiers.
Basically, I'll use whatever I fancy if it feels right for the song.
